Festive Holiday Chocolate Tree Truffles

Ingredients:

  • 1 box Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • Green food coloring
  • Sprinkles or decorative sugar for decoration

Directions:

  1. In a food processor, pulse the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes until they are finely crumbled. Alternatively, you can crumble them by hand in a large bowl.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake crumbs with softened cream cheese until the mixture is well blended and smooth.
  3. Using a small scoop or your hands, form the mixture into small, truffle-sized balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze for 15 minutes to set.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips and coconut oil together in 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until smooth and fully melted. Add green food coloring to the melted chocolate until you achieve the desired color.
  5. Dip each truffle ball into the melted chocolate mixture, ensuring it’s completely coated. Allow the excess chocolate to drip off before placing it back on the parchment paper. Decorate with sprinkles or decorative sugar before the chocolate sets.
  6. Refrigerate the truffles for at least 30 minutes or until the chocolate is firm.
